When Ormonde Waste & Recycling formed in 2004 they entered a highly fragmented regional market. Threesixty was retained to develop a market-entry strategy and brand that would appeal across domestic and commercial customers in the South-East region.
Within 12 months, Ormonde Waste & Recycling had achieved market leadership position and was subsequently acquired by Greenstar.
The brand was very deliberately created to break through the competitive set and deliver very high visibility through its trucks, bins and sales material. The creative solution and messaging platform was dramatically different from any other waste management company, repositioning it as caring, responsible and highly professional. The rebranding project included all customer touchpoints including livery, depots, website, bins, advertising and sales material.
Ormonde Waste & Recycling experienced rapid growth, winning the lion's share of new business during the construction boom as new houses were built requiring a waste collection service. They also experienced very strong performance in the commercial sector, winning new business on the brand promise of exceptional service, integrity and compliance.
The brand won a Gold IDEA Brand Identity award in 2007 and Threesixty continued to work closely with Ormonde Waste & Recycling, planning and executing its market growth strategy over a 3 year period until the company was acquired by Greenstar in late 2007.
