Health is going to be one of the prevailing economic issues of this century. Ageing populations, creaking healthcare systems and an obesity epidemic in the Western world will drive increased focus on this area.

The Watershed, a E25m public sports and leisure facility which was designed to exceptional architectural standards, opened in Kilkenny in December 2008. With a large swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym, indoor sports stadium, aerobics rooms, astro-turf soccer pitches and race-track - this is a vast facility with an offering for everyone regardless of age or ability. Funded by the Local Authority, The Watershed is run under private management but has a very inclusive ethos. It offers an innovative pay-as-you-go system for people who can use the facilities whenever they wish rather than having to pay for membership.

Threesixty was retained to create the branding and market launch strategy for The Watershed. From naming through to creative branding and a high-impact launch campaign, Threesixty handled all of the launch elements.

The Watershed has been a huge success, outperforming all expectations and surpassing commercial goals.
